Government and private sectors join forces to prepare for the grand energy product and service exhibition, ASEAN Energy Storage & Smart Energy Expo 2025

In response to the policy supporting the development of clean energy and Thailand's goal of increasing renewable energy to 51% of total energy by 2037, the Ministry of Energy, together with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, the Wind Energy Association of Thailand, and international business sectors, including the Thai-Chinese Trade Federation, the Guangdong Battery Industry Association, Guangdong Grandeur Exhibition Group, and Compass Exhibition, announced their cooperation in organizing the largest energy product and service exhibition in ASEAN under the name ASEAN Energy Storage & Smart Energy Expo 2025 from 5-7 March 2025 at Impact Muang Thong Thani, expecting more than 10,000 attendees from around the world.

Mr. Sayan Pansang, Assistant Governor for Business Administration, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), spoke about the policy to support the development of clean energy. According to data, Thailand has set a target to increase renewable energy to 51% of total energy by 2037, and data from the ASEAN region has set a target to build a total of 266 gigawatts of solar power plants by 2050, which shows good growth opportunities for the energy business. The public and private sectors have responded and are committed to supporting and promoting clean energy technology and smart innovation in the ASEAN region.

The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand places importance on sustainable energy development and is committed to being a part of supporting projects to create cooperation between the public, private, and international organizations to drive Thailand's energy future. It is therefore ready to support the ASEAN Energy Storage & Smart Energy Expo 2025 from 5-7 March 2025 at Impact Muang Thong Thani, which will be an important platform to promote clean energy technology and smart innovation in the ASEAN region.

Mr. Arda Gunler, Vice President of the Thai Wind Energy Association (Thai WEA), mentioned about the support for the organization of the ASEAN Energy Storage & Smart Energy Expo 2025.
