This collaborative initiative aims to promote skill development in the Thai workforce, particularly in the field of electric vehicles (EV), aligning with national policy. It marks the beginning of a joint effort to design standardized curricula across relevant sectors — covering areas such as EV modification, maintenance, and technician training. These programs are expected to play a significant role in national development and create new opportunities for EV truck conversions in provinces across the country.

Additionally, the meeting proposed initial approaches to developing both short-term and long-term courses. These include: Basic EV skills training programs aimed at widely disseminating knowledge to technicians and industry personnel, Specialized training courses tailored to the interests of learners or urgent workforce needs in high-demand job positions, Integration of digital technologies, such as online training and digital learning centers (Digital E-Learning), which will serve as knowledge hubs for both fundamental and specialized content in automotive and electric vehicle technologies.

One key platform highlighted was Newgarage — an innovative digital learning platform developed for SMEs, garages, technicians, and automotive professionals. It enables continuous access to practical knowledge while addressing limitations in in-person training capacity.
